Machinery commission sale

A Managed Way to Sell Industrial Machinery

Selling industrial machinery can be quite involved. From preparing advertisements, answering technical questions, qualifying buyers, arranging viewings and negotiating the sale.

Vogue Plastics offers a managed machinery-listing service for suitable working equipment. Sellers provide machine information and media for review before we decide whether it is suitable for the website.

When accepted, we can prepare and promote the listing and handle sales enquiries on the seller's behalf. Commission and any additional service costs are discussed and agreed before the machine is advertised.

How the Process Works

  1. 01

    Submit Your Machine

Send the available machine information, asking-price approach, photographs, videos and supporting documents.

  2. 02

    We Review the Submission

We assess the machine, its condition, the information supplied and whether it is suitable for our buyer audience. We may request further details.

  3. 03

    We Agree the Terms

Before publication, we agree the pricing approach, commission, optional service costs and relevant sales terms with you.

  4. 04

We Create and Manage the Listing

Vogue Plastics prepares the website listing and handles initial buyer enquiries, discussions and negotiations.

  5. 05

    The Machine Is Sold

If a sale completes through Vogue Plastics, the agreed commission and service charges become payable under the seller agreement.

Submitting machinery does not guarantee acceptance, publication or sale. No listing is made public until the seller has approved the information and commercial terms have been agreed.

What Machinery Can Be Submitted?

Our main focus is machinery, ancillary equipment and production equipment used in vacuum forming thermoforming, plastics processing and related manufacturing factories. However, we often take on other items too, other types of machinery are also of interest.

Vacuum-forming and thermoforming machines
Sheet-fed and roll-fed forming machines
Plastic extrusion lines and sheet extruders
Granulators, grinders and shredders
Material dryers, loaders and conveying systems
Chillers, cooling systems, compressors and vacuum systems
Trimming, hydraulic and roller presses
Cutting machines, guillotines and CNC routers
Tooling and mould-handling equipment
Packaging, printing and labelling machinery
Robots, automation and product handling
Industrial ovens, heaters and temperature control
Inspection and quality-control equipment
Recycling and scrap-processing equipment
Ancillary plastics-processing equipment
Complete production lines and factory-clearance packages

This list is not exhaustive. Other machinery used within plastics, packaging and related manufacturing environments can be submitted for review.

Machinery Must Be in Working Condition

Machines should be operational and capable of being demonstrated running unless Vogue Plastics has specifically agreed otherwise. Sellers must disclose known faults, damage, missing parts, modifications, safety issues and operational limitations.

Where possible, provide a recent video showing the machine operating. We may decline machinery that cannot be demonstrated, lacks supporting information or is unsuitable for listing. Submission does not mean Vogue Plastics has inspected, tested or certified the machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to list a machine?

Our sales commission and any additional service costs are agreed individually before the machine is listed. Submitting a machine for review does not create an automatic charge.

Do I need to provide a fixed asking price?

No. You can provide a fixed asking price, state that you are open to offers or ask Vogue Plastics to discuss the pricing approach with you.

Does the machine have to be working?

Machines should normally be in working condition and capable of being demonstrated. Known faults, defects, modifications and missing parts must be disclosed. However, defective machinery may still be of interest for Vogue Plastics to purchase directly.

Can I list machinery outside the UK?

Yes. We can review international submissions. Practical arrangements and available services depend on the location.

Will Vogue Plastics buy my machine directly?

We may consider selected machinery depending on the machine, price, demand and available budget. Submitting does not guarantee an offer.

Who handles buyer enquiries?

Vogue Plastics manages initial buyer enquiries and negotiations, contacting the seller when technical information, access or a demonstration is required.

Can you arrange dismantling or transport?

Dismantling, loading, transport, storage and additional marketing may be available at extra cost and are agreed individually.

Can I list several machines or a factory clearance?

Yes. Multiple machines, complete production lines and factory-clearance opportunities can be submitted for review.
